The Web That Has No Weaver
Chiropractic health care is hundreds of years old; early bone setters were tribespeople rather than clinicians and "diagnosed" by using their hands not their X-ray machines. Science has brought us far from those early times - today's D.C.s use modern imaging techniques when necessary, but still rely on the age old "laying on of hands" in order to determine what parts of the body need treatment
A Complex Evolution
More than 200 specific types of Chiropractic treatment techniques exist - some techniques require the use of portable hand held adjusting devices, while others rely soley on a hands-on approach. Dr. DeVeuve's style incorporates many different techniques and is reflective of her extensive education in many different chiropractic disciplines. Treatment plans are individualized to reflect methods that work best for each particular patient.
The Graston Technique
"The Graston Technique is an innovative, patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. The Technique utilizes specially designed stainless steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation."
